I listened to a series of videos by Ray Edwards. He goes over 5 power tactics of copy writing that can boost sales:
1. Seductive headline that get people to read your ad, headline, email
2. Copy can kill your sales — Write in conversational language
3. Start the romance — Demonstrate that you care and trigger the principle of reciprocity
4. Word of mouth — authority transferrence
5. Talk in your own voice – proofread your copy – take out the points that don’t flow, that interrupt your reader, read your copy outloud. Do not read it in your head.
